Emaar To Build First 3D-Printed Home In Dubai

Emaar properties will soon build a 3D printed home in Dubai! How cool is that! Dubai’s first 3d printed home will have its address in Arabian Ranches III and will be decked with the latest amenities.

What’s It?

As a first step towards adopting unique construction technologies, Emaar announced the first 3d printed home in Dubai. The property will be launched in Arabian Ranches III and will serve as a model for investors.

3D technology not only helps builders in adopting to innovative technologies but also helps build faster with less noise, reduces cost and wastage of construction materials.

The property will comprise of three and four bedroom houses. A lush green park sprawling across 30,000 square metres, a 4km long boulevard and a lazy river are also part of the mega project. The new neighbourhood is named the ‘premium desert-themed community’ and is expected to span 6.67 million square metres.

The park will also house a central plaza, adventure arenas, a parkour course, skate park, barbecue areas, jogging tracks and a gym. The community will also complete with an 86km long Al Qudra cycling track.

Mohamed Alabbar, chairman of Emaar Properties, said: “Our plans to embrace 3D printing of homes is an integral part of our digital-first and customer-first strategy. Through this, we are not only positioning ourselves as an early adopter of advanced technology but also creating long-term value for our customers as 3D printing brings numerous advantages, such as reduced cost of construction, more efficient use of materials and higher levels of sustainability.”

Residents can express their interest in investing in the project, although this particular home will not be up for sale.
