Emaar’s Dubai Creek Tower To Be Constructed Within A Year

Emaar’s Dubai Creek Tower is one of the city’s boldest endeavours. It is currently undergoing a redesign phase. The visionary behind Emaar Properties, Mohamed Alabbar, recently disclosed that the tower’s redesign stemmed from a competition. Initially conceived with a 360-degree viewing deck, the Dubai Creek Tower was set to feature a café, a central plaza with shops, a museum, and an indoor auditorium. The deck was inspired by the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum orchestrated this plan in October 2016. Its initial targeted completion date was 2021. However, progress faced a halt. Nevertheless, the construction is now slated to recommence in August 2024. Fresh insights into the concept will be unveiled by April 2024.
