1. Emirates Back As Partners Of Australia Open

Emirates took to its official account on X to announce that they are back as the official airline for the Australian Open for another five years. Yes, this is valid till 2029 and the airline has already been partnering with Tennis Australia since 2015. From 2025 onwards, this partnership will extend outside the Australian Open.
2. UAE NCM Records 5.5 Magnitude Earthquake In Western Iran

On December 5, the UAE NCM recorded a 5.5 magnitude earthquake near Western Iran. The seismic network detected this earthquake at 8:02 AM with a depth of 10 km. Even though Iran is quite close to the UAE, these shakings were not felt by the people in the country as reported by the metrological department.
3. Qatar Airways Cargo Signs MoU With Japan Airline Cargo

Qatar Airways Cargo has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Japan Airline Cargo. This has been done to strengthen their partnership and enhance the product offerings for the cargo customers. With the aim of delivering enhanced services, the MoU has been signed to achieve operational synergies. This will be done by merging their network through hubs in Tokyo and Doha.
4. WorldEF Dubai 2024 Forum Commences

Dubai Commerce City is currently hosting the WorldEF Dubai 2024 Forum, which is the world’s largest digital commerce event. Inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the event is a premium platform, which highlights Dubai’s important role as a global hub for innovation and trade. 5. AD Mobility Allocates Buses & Taxis For F1 Event
To ensure comfort during the F1 event, we have allocated 80 public buses and more than 2,000 taxis at your convenience for smooth transportation. As revealed by Abu Dhabi Mobility, 80 public buses and over 2000 taxis have been allocated for the upcoming F1 event. Making it easier for people to smoothly travel to their destination, RSP will also be deployed. They will help in managing the traffic and support road users in case of any emergencies.
