When you fly from the airport to telltale sign of an Emirates crew member walking on the premises is their smart uniform. A recognition of the airline, this iconic uniform is now regarded as a symbol of the airline. So, now the airline is evolving its uniform for female crew members! Yes, for this purpose their female members will now be given an option to choose from a range of 15 shoe styles.

Emirates Female Crew Members Now Have A Choice Of 15 Shoe Styles

It’s no secret that individual comfort may vary from person to person. As a result, to ensure the comfort of female members, Emirates is now offering them a range of 15 shoe sizes. Yes, this is an expensive range of Spanish-manufactured 100 percent leather that is used for making footwear for both male and female crew members. These offer a variety of heights, widths, shapes, and styles, to ensure comfort, style, and fit for every foot. As it happens, the latest addition of female shoes and matching leather handbags are available in bright red colours that will compliment the pleats of the skirt and the trim of the uniform.

Emirates Uniform Through The Years

This comes as a major change as the Emirates Airline in 1985 introduced the shoes for its crew members, they were red, which changed to brown and later to the signature red once again. Now, it’s worth mentioning that female members receive two pairs of red leather shoes every year. Yes, this includes a flat cabin shoe and a choice of medium or high heels. Similarly, male members receive new leather shoes every nine months.

In case you’re wondering about the uniform, they have been designed to reflect the hues of the warm sand in the UAE. Not to mention, the iconic red hats sport a gold pen which showcases the Emirates logo. As such, Emirates also provides female cabin members with a scrunchy. These are available in signature red for an elegant hair-up style that the crew may choose.

It’s worth mentioning that this comes as a part of the investment into the world-class crew experience. And for this purpose, Emirates recently launched the Emirates Beauty Hub in Dubai that would help the crew maintain their health, well-being, and uniform standards.
