1. Emirates To Increase Allowance For Staff

Emirates has recently revealed that it plans to hike the education allowance for its staff. In fact, there will be a 4% increase in transport allowance and UAE national retention allowance. In fact, a 4% increase is also going to be there for the flight deck and cabin crew for flying and productivity pay. Besides this, all employees will also receive a 10% – 15% increase in their housing allowance. This is certainly brilliant use for the Emirates staff as their salaries are found to be increased with such an increase in allowance.

2. Japan Suspends E-Visas Leaving Expats In UAE In Limbo

Japan has suspended e-visas. As a result, residents with a plan to travel to this country are affected. In fact, it’s worth mentioning that even though Emirates can visit the nation visa-free, expats will have to secure prime permits before the trips. As a result, their travel plans are now in limbo! With there being a high demand for visas, it’s nearly impossible to get a slot as revealed by several expatriates trying to get a visa for the nation.

3. Travellers Asked To Follow Guidelines While Travelling With Children

Are you travelling this summer season with your little munchkin? Well, then you will want to take note of some guidelines that will help you in travelling with them. Make sure that they receive regular check-ups and have all their vaccinations up-to-date. As there is an increased risk of Illness and heat-related illnesses, it’s important that children are up to date with their vaccines and check-ups. Not to mention, you must ensure that they are constantly hydrated.

4. First Female Abu Dhabi Police Officer Called To Serve In Interpol

For the first time ever, a female police officer in Abu Dhabi will be serving in Interpol. Serving in the international organisation, this is a three-year tenure of captain Hajar Rashid Al Muami who has been appointed by Abu Dhabi Police General Command. It’s worth mentioning that she is a digital crime analyst. And yes, she has been dispatched to work as an officer at the Innovation Center of the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol).

5. Residents Urge For Mid-Day Break For Delivery Riders

Summer is here and temperatures are continuing the soar. As a result, one of the worst affected peoples are food delivery riders. And there is now a unanimous agreement on the importance of offering these riders with refreshments and generous steps. With the temperatures already surpassing 50°, the peak summer season is still not here yet and it’s already hot. As a result, food delivery riders are affected by the soaring temperatures. In fact, UAE Authorities announced the implementation of midday break, but food delivery services were exempted from this policy. So, to help out such riders, 6000 rest stations have already been set up in the UAE with the collaboration between government entities and the private sector.

6. Flydubai To Fly To 2 New Destinations In Iran

Flydubai has announced that it will soon begin flights to two new destinations in Iran. Yes, to Kish Island and Kerman, these will be serviced by four direct weekly services and two weekly services, respectively. In fact, the services will begin on September 7 and 9, respectively.
