Glad you asked. Emirates’ Premium Economy is the real deal. On the A380, the Premium Economy cabin is located at the front of the main deck in a 2-4-2 seating layout. Expect more elbow room and fewer awkward seat encounters.
You’ll get wider seats, extra recline, a footrest, in-seat charging ports, and even a side cocktail table for your mini wine-and-dine moment. Oh, and let’s not forget the curated menu and premium drink options. You’ll basically feel like you’ve cheated the system and flown Business without emptying your life savings.

The revamped A380 rollout is part of Emirates’ broader mission to upgrade its fleet and delight travellers everywhere. With these new features, Emirates’ retrofitted A380s will now fly to 19 destinations. Think Sydney, Osaka, Mumbai, Singapore, and Bangalore, just to name a few.
Meanwhile, Emirates’ shiny new Boeing 777s have also joined the makeover club. These upgraded planes are now flying to eight more cities, with a fresh aircraft joining the skies every three weeks. By September 2025, expect 44 cities covered with refurbished cabins and Premium Economy included. Yes, Emirates is going all in.
So, whether you’re heading off on holiday, returning home, or pretending a business trip is strictly professional, Emirates just made flying feel premium again (without putting you in a financial chokehold).
