For Just QAR35, Qatar’s ColorVerse Attraction Brings Lights, Games & 45-Minute Adventures To Doha

Qatar is adding another big indoor attraction to its summer calendar. Called the ColorVerse Experience, the new event is set to open at Katara Cultural Village in Doha, Qatar from July 15 to September 15, 2026. It’s inviting families, kids, and anyone who enjoys interactive games without melting in the summer heat.

Doha’s New ColorVerse Attraction Wants Families To Step Inside A Colourful Story

And yes, as the colour suggests, everything revolves around colours. The attraction is part of Qatar’s wider Hala Summer campaign. By July, most people across the Gulf are actively searching for anything air-conditioned.

Visitors Basically Become Part Of The Experience

The setup is built around a fictional place called Colorama, a world that has apparently lost all its colours. Visitors enter as “Restorers” and move through different zones trying to bring everything back to life again.

It’s less about standing around watching things and more about moving through the space, playing games & solving little challenges.

Also, there are strange creatures called “Munchers” involved, which seem to be the troublemakers stealing all the colour from the city.

A character named HUE guides people through the experience from start to finish. The entire walkthrough lasts around 45 minutes, so it’s long enough to feel like an actual activity without exhausting younger kids halfway through.

Families In Doha Are Going To Love This

For many parents, summer becomes a constant search for places where children can run around indoors without getting bored after ten minutes.

That’s probably why Qatar Calendar is positioning ColorVerse as one of the season’s major family attractions. The event combines lights, projections, sound effects, mini games, stage performances, and even science-style demonstrations in one place.

There’ll also be workshops, character meet-and-greets, and themed merchandise for children who become fully obsessed with the storyline after visiting.

Tickets reportedly start from QAR35, making it fairly accessible compared to some larger entertainment events in the region.

Katara Keeps Becoming Doha’s Main Family Hangout Spot

Holding the attraction at Katara Cultural Village feels intentional, too. The area already attracts families because of its restaurants, walking areas, galleries, and waterfront views.

But the South Parking area, where ColorVerse will be staged, gives organisers enough space to build these huge temporary installations properly.

Also, because entry happens in timed sessions, organisers can control crowd sizes a bit better instead of turning the place into complete chaos during weekends.
