Finding your way around the Dubai expo can seem overwhelming, to say the least, and the expo is bursting with food options from cuisines you’ve never heard before. Thankfully, we’ve curated a list of the most off beat country pavilions serving their local food for you to discover, explore, and expand your food favourites.

1. Tiaki, New Zealand

Aotearoa New Zealand has a special connection to the land and sea; founded on care, respect and an understanding that when nature thrives, we all thrive. In Tiaki, you can enjoy cheese platters featuring a variety of Fonterra’s Kāpiti cheeses, Comvita Mānuka honey cake, and fresh fruit carpaccio with Zespri Kiwifruit.

2. Al Lusitano, Portugal

Portugal may be a small country, but it is big on flavours. Whether you try Bacalhau à brása local cod fish dish, their national sandwich Bifanas, or even the simple but hearty Caldo Verde soup, you’re sure to love this cuisine full of spices and fresh herbs.

3. Evok, Colombia

5. Taste Estonia, Estonia

Have you tried gourmet Nordic street food yet? At Taste Estonia,  Estonian classics – cold smoked salmon and black bread – are a must try for everyone! When you’re feeling not-so-experimental, they even have delicious burgers and loaded fries.

6. Paris- Versailles Café, France

This French Brasserie, located in the heart of the Dubai expo, will transport you to France for a sweet or savory break. Taste French gastronomic specialties indoors or on their stunning terrace. Bonus: it’s family friendly!

7. Gastro Roots of Hungary, Hungary

With traditional Hungarian dishes prepared in a modern way, you can watch their chefs work with fresh and quality ingredients from small-scale farmers in the Hungarian countryside to bring you mouthwatering delicacies served in the most palatable manner.
