An age-old SOO Line caboose lying in Decorah, Lowa in the US overlooks a sprawling horse pasture and it is actually an Airbnb property. Stay Inside A Train Caboose In The Heart Of An English Pasture
The caboose stay is the brainchild of Jim and his daughter Danielle. The duo renovated the insides of the caboose shelling out $4,000 to make them a comfortable place to unwind with all the modern amenities. By working on the caboose for a period of nearly six months, Jim added timbre works on the interiors. A bedroom on the upper storey at the property is accessible by a staircase. Also, engines usually have an odour of diesel in the air, which was eliminated using powder wash.
The Caboose Come With Amenities Like Refrigerator, Microwave And Barware
The cosy caboose looks charming inside out and comes with amenities like refrigerator, microwave, linens, towels, dishes and a six-gallon hot water heater. What’s more, it also has a swanky barware for cocktailing. The best part is, one can get out on the pasture and have a beautiful time with the timid horses. The crimson sun going home behind the empty pasture is a sight to behold. For bookworms, the shelves of the caboose are stocked with many good reads too.
