According to a report by Economic Times, Tourism Fiji Executive Director of Regions Robert Thompson threw more light on this manner. This includes honeymoon, eco-tourism, sustainable, multi-generational families and wellness travel.

He further informs that Indian arrivals to Fiji in 2023 reached pre-COVID numbers of 2019. This proves Indians have an increased appetite for experience-led and premium travel. Thompson also stated that in December 2023, they witnessed the highest number of Indian arrivals in Fiji. There was a 300 per cent Indian crease in Indian tourist arrivals than that in December 2022.
