Dubai’s low-cost carrier Flydubai is partnering with the Al Hosn app for contact tracing and covid-19 health verification for passengers when they fly. The UAE’s offical app, which is used for health testing, will now be used to check the health records of the passengers when they fly. Here’s everything you must know about it.

Fly Dubai Becomes First Airline To Partner With Al Hosn App For Travel
Fly Dubai is the first airline to associate with the app and offer this service to travellers. Citizens, residents and visitors to the UAE can now use the app to check-in, while travelling with Flydubai. It means that travellers will no longer have to provide a printed or original copy of their negative PCR test when travelling from Dubai. However, one needs to note that some destinations will still require passengers to show the copy on arrival.
Passengers Can Travel Hassel Free From Dubai With FlyDubai From Terminal 2
In terms of this service, it is available to passengers departing from Dubai’s Terminal 2. The airline is also planning to integrate the service at Terminal 3 as well. Speaking on this, Hamad Obaidalla, a chief commercial officer of flydubai, said,
“We would like to thank Al Hosn for their partnership and support in implementing this digital verification facility and we are pleased to become the first airline to offer this service to the benefit of our passengers.”

For the app, the Al Hosn app is a joint initiative with the Ministry of Health and Prevention and local health authorities. It aims to provide quick access to the covid-19 results and vaccine information, thereby making thing hassle-free for the citizens.
Flydubai is now flying to more than 90 destinations, including summer routes to Batumi in Georgia, Mykonos and Santorini in Greece, Naples in Italy, Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt and Tivat in Montenegro.
