Air Canada has added additional, direct flights from the base at Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to Dubai as part of a deliberate broadening of its global footprint.
This is a significant step for both Air Canada and YVR because it signifies a strategic extension of the flag carrier’s worldwide reach. The addition of direct flights on this route is said to be a year-round operation rather than a seasonal one.
Every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 8:50 p.m., flights will depart from Vancouver and touch down in Dubai at 11:50 p.m. On Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at two in the morning, planes will depart from DXB and arrive in Vancouver at 5:55 pm later. In short, expect 4 weekly flights from Vancouver to Dubai and vice versa.
The route will start using Air Canada’s premier Dreamliner fleet on October 28, 2023.
