UAE Updates
1. Half A Million People Welcomed At Sheikh Zayed Mosque In 1st Half Of Ramadan

In a recent post by the UAE Forsan, it was mentioned that nearly half a million people have been welcomed by the Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi. As it happens, these figures were recorded for the duration of the first half of the month of Ramadan. As such, it has received 570,113 people, which included 164,704 people attending prayers.
2. Ne’ma Launches Food Rescue Programme

It was recently announced that Ne’ma has launched the Food Rescue Programme. A part of the Count Your ne’ma campaign, this is in collaboration with food production and distribution stakeholders. Not to mention, the aim is to rescue surplus fresh local produce and then redistribute the same in iftar boxes to communities in need during the holy month of Ramadan.
3. Ras Al Khor Road Widening Project Has Been Completed
This project is part of RTA's efforts to upgrade Dubai's infrastructure, particularly in areas experiencing rapid urbanisation and population growth. The Dubai RTA announced on X, that it has completed the Ras Al Khor Road Widening Project. This will increase from three to four lanes along a 3-km stretch in both directions. Not to mention, the works extend from the Bu Kadra intersection to the Al Khail Road intersection. As such, it’s a part of the RTA’s efforts to upgrade Dubai’s infrastructure.

4. UAE Food Bank & Taya Art Production Launches Cook Of Thousand Meals Initiative
Don’t miss the ‘Cook of Thousand Meals’ initiative organised by #UAEFoodBank at Zabeel Park, in coordination with #DubaiMunicipality and several partners, aiming to prepare and distribute 4,000 daily meals for workers. #RamadanKareem.

The UAE Food Bank along with Taya Art Production, recently launched ‘Cook Of Thousand Meals initiative. This is under the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation and 20,000 meals were prepared. These were then served for iftar and suhoor. As such, the programme was carried out in Hatta and Za’beel!
5. Partial Road Closure In Abu Dhabi

Integrated Transport Centre Abu Dhabi recently announced that there will be a partial closure of a road. This closure is on the Khalifa Bin Zayed The First Street and it’s in place from today. As such, the closure will continue to remain in place till April 1.
