Indian cuisine is known for its beautiful Symphony of flavours. With a multitude of dishes from different parts of the country, every region here has its own speciality that’s completely different from others. And as TasteAtlas reveals its list of the 100 Best Cuisines in the World for 2025/26, it’s hardly a surprise that India has managed to snag a place in its top 20.

Indian Cuisine has been ranked at the 13th spot for the TasteAtlas Awards 2025/26. Yes, the country’s cuisine has been ranked amongst the top 20 in the world, and this is not surprising at all. For those who are wondering, this is a prestigious award, and they are known for ranking cuisines and some of the best dishes from around the world. And for this year, India has managed to score a 4.43 out of 5. According to the rankings, Italian cuisine has been named as the number one with an impressive score of 4.64.
