Rajasthan Royals have now advanced to Qualifier 2 after defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad by 47 runs in the IPL 2026 Eliminator. And the 15-year-old batting prodigy, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, had a massive role in it. He scored 97 runs off just 29 balls. Sadly, he was just three runs short of what would have been the fastest century in IPL history.
During the post-match celebrations, he cut a cake while his teammates celebrated the win with cheers and excitement. The cricket-themed cake matched the jersey colours of the Rajasthan Royals with dual tones of navy blue and vibrant pink.
Rajasthan Royals Advance To Qualifier 2
Even though Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is a great batter, he is still a teenager at heart. He shyly cut the cake, which even had a small bat on it. The video was uploaded by the official page of Rajasthan Royals with a caption that read, “Give Vaibhav his bat, and he’ll sleep happy!” And honestly, we agree! Even his fans cheered him on in the comment section. They wrote comments like, “Universal Baby Boss,” and “Congratulations, Vaibhav.”
