4 Dead After Small Plane Crashes In Austrian Alps; Cause Of Crash Not Known Yet 

After taking off from Bavaria in Germany, the small plane crashed in the Austrian Alps near Wald im Pinzgau, killing all four on board. So far, the cause of the crash is not known and is now under investigation.

A tragedy struck the Austrian Alps when a small plane, carrying four people, crashed after taking off from Bavaria. The plane went down near Wald im Pinzgau and burst into flames immediately. The police confirmed that three men and a woman were killed in the unfortunate incident.

Small Plane Crashes In Austrian Alps

According to India Today, the plane that took off from Germany’s Bavaria and crashed in the Austrian Alps on Saturday. All four people on board were killed after the plane caught fire upon crash. The plane crashed around 12:45 PM (local time) in Salzburg province.

Reportedly, the small plane had taken off from an airfield in Oberschleissheim, near Munich, for a round-trip flight. The crash site had treacherous terrain, making it difficult for rescue and emergency teams to reach the spot on time. They had to pass through dense forests and steep slopes to reach the place. However, by the time they reached the spot, fire had gutted the aircraft.

Rising Cases Of Aviation Accidents

The plane crash in the Austrian Alps comes days after the fatal Air India crash in Ahmedabad that claimed hundreds of lives. The latest incident again brought the rising cases of aviation accidents worldwide. To know the reason for the crash, an investigation has already begun with aviation authorities from Austria and Germany coordinating for the probe. Forensic teams have visited the crash site to understand if the cause of the crash could be mechanical failure, sudden weather shifts, or human error.

So far, there has been no immediate information on the cause of the crash, and more information is awaited.
