5 Free Summer Activities You Need To Try In Dubai

Dubai

You may believe it would be challenging to go to Dubai on a budget since it is famous as a hub of contemporary design, grandeur, and luxury in general—but you can think wrong! There is good news for vacationers on a tight budget: there are many free activities and attractions in Dubai. Here are 5 free summer activities in Dubai, whether you want to take in the gleaming contemporary skyscrapers, learn about the emirate’s history and culture, or walk outside and enjoy nature.

1. Ride An Abra

We’re delighted that riding an abra is reasonably priced for almost everyone because it’s a must-do in the city. Get a flavour of history by using this method of crossing the Dubai Creek, which is the city’s custom (and a convenient form of transportation). Cross the waterway at the Deira Old Souk or Al Sabkha Abra stations to go to the Old Souk or Bur Dubai stations.

2. Take A Day To Explore The Mall

This is entirely free if you can resist the over 1,200 stores inside this huge mall. One of the biggest shopping centres in the world, the Dubai Mall has a wide variety of stores and eateries, an aquarium, a movie theatre, an ice skating rink, a virtual reality park, and more. There not being enough shopping for you? Even if you simply want to window shop, the Mall of the Emirates boasts many entertainment options and retail stores.

3. Visit An Authentic Souk

Of course, you can also have a genuine shopping experience in a neighbourhood souk if a mall isn’t exactly your thing. Our favourite souks are the Spice Souk and the Gold Souk. Even if you decide not to make a purchase, a walk around these traditional markets while window shopping is the ideal opportunity to experience sights, sounds, and fragrances fully.
