1. Abu Dhabi Road To Be Closed Till March 1
With the aim of enhancing road infrastructure and traffic flow, it was announced that the Sheikha Khalifa Bin Zayed Street-Al Ain will be partially closed till March 1. As announced by AD Mobility, a partial road closure is being done for the development of the existing infrastructure.
2. AD2000 Fine For Recording Police Officers
Recently, a woman in Dubai was fined AED2000 for filming a police officer. She and her friend were filming and assaulting a female police officer during questioning for which, they have been found guilty by the Dubai court. As a result, they now have to pay this amount as a penalty.
3. Total Trips Across Public Transport In Dubai Reaches 153 Million In 2024

As revealed by the Dubai RTA, Dubai transport shared mobility and taxis reached 153 million in 2024. Yes, out of this, taxis accounted for more than 115 million trips. As it happens, October and November recorded the highest trip volumes with 14 million trips each.

Flyadeal, which is the fastest-growing low-cost airline in Saudi Arabia began its inaugural flight to Karachi. Yes, touching down at the airport in Pakistan, it was a flight from Riyadh. As it happens, it also services other destinations, like Dammam, Amman, and Al Bahah.
5. Eight New Contact Gates At Concourse E
Passengers will also benefit from advanced self-boarding technology, designed to streamline the boarding process and improve overall operational efficiency.

Recently, Doha Hamad International Airport announced that eight new gates have been opened as a part of Concourse E. Yes, Concourse E has eight new gates, which represents 20% overall addition. Spread across 51,000 km² of floor space, it is across three levels. Not to mention, passengers will also benefit from the advanced self-boarding technology that is available here. With the opening of these gates, it marks a significant step in the mission of the airport to further enhance operations.
