In order to improve connections for the airline’s passengers across the continent and allow them to access seamless on-ground bus and rail networks, Air India has entered into an intermodal interline agreement with AccesRail.
With the new agreement, passengers who purchased tickets from Air India would be able to use the same baggage allowance on trains and bus operator services as they do on flights. These intermodal tickets can currently only be purchased through travel agencies worldwide.
This new agreement permits travellers to travel via the entry points of Amsterdam, Birmingham, London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Milan, and Vienna through Austria, Belgium, Germany, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, and the United Kingdom.

You can utilize the bus and train services of Avanti West Coast (UK), National Express (UK), Trenitalia (Italy), BB Austrian Railways (Austria), SNCB Belgian Railways, and Thalys (Netherlands/Belgium) with the purchase of an intermodal ticket.
The ticket will actually act like a game changer for the travel industry. This is because this one ticket will surely attract many visitors to Europe. From stays to tourist attractions, all of this will be experienced by more and more people.
Air India seeks to improve links between Europe and India by following in the footsteps of Vistara, who joined WorldTicket earlier this year.
