For the latest episode of Sunday Brunch with Curly Tales, we were invited to Bobby Deol’s beautiful home in Juhu. Now, as a good guest, we got our host a gift – his favourite lauki! Yes, Bobby Deol loves lauki and he even treated our Editor-in-Chief Kamiya Jani to a simple yet delicious lunch that consisted of lauki ki sabzi, dal, and roti.

While talking to Bobby, we asked him what is typically prepared for lunch at the Deol household. To this he replied that they have a lot of vegetarian food for lunch and unlike popular opinion, his family likes vegetables! They usually eat sabzis like lauki, tori, tinde, aloo gobi, gajar matar, and moong dal. In winter, they have palak and saag added to their lunch menu! Also, unlike most families, their Sunday brunch doesn’t consist of anything unhealthy and indulgent. The family is rather happy with their veggies, it seems!
