Calling food comfort, remedial, homecoming, and love, she penned beautiful nostalgic thoughts and memories attached to her childhood days. She described how food items left an indelible residue on her tongue and heart. These treats are more than just food for survival. These are something that satiate her tummy and soul.

From savouring kachha kairi and kamrak with black salt outside her school to enjoying the child-like coolness of holding a phantom cigarette, those were the days. While talking about food while growing up, she did not forget to include kala katta gola stains on her tongue, Kissmi toffees sticking in teeth gums, and splitting a Jim jam biscuit into two halves and licking the sweet red jelly at first.

Do you remember those Bournvita and Rooh Afza days? Well, Shefali Shah indulged in Rooh Afza with milk and Bournvita without any milk. A delicious Monginis cake was a part of her birthday celebrations. The actor sweetly called soft overcooked rice puchku rice. Her heartwarming post for comfort food shows how much she loves food and it continues to play an integral part in her life.
