From Starting Poha Stall To Buying Own House, This Single Mother’s Journey Is Moving The Internet

Savita Gupta’s husband passed away when she was just 26 years old. Back then, she had hardly any money left with her to bring up her three children. But Gupta Ji wanted to do her best to impart education to her children and give them a healthy livelihood. In 2011, she started a poha stall in Chhattisgarh to earn the bread for her family. Her poha business picked up and gradually things started getting better for her. Later, she also began a tiffin service for college students.

Gupta Ji Wakes Up At 3 AM To Set Up Her Poha Thela

Gupta Ji’s story was brought to light on the Instagram page of Official Humans of Chhattisgarh. The video has received immense love from the netizens. It has garnered over 402K likes and 2358 comments. Gupta Ji wakes up at 3 AM and starts making poha at her thela for her customers. Her delicious poha gets out of stock in around a couple of hours.

Gupta Ji And Her Family Brought Their Own House With The Accumulated Income

Now, after around 10 years of starting her business, Gupta Ji and her family managed to buy their own beautiful house. She told Humans of Chhattisgarh that her children are all settled now. She added that on being able to buy a house, she cannot be more happier. Gupta Ji is the perfect example of perseverance and dedication.
