On Tuesday afternoon, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) reported record-breaking temperatures of 50.8°C in Al Shawamekh, Abu Dhabi, at 14:45, and in Sweihan, Al Ain, at 15:45. This sizzling heat wave, which migrated from the Arabian Peninsula, has raised temperatures by two to three degrees in desert, inland, and coastal areas.
