This night curfew translates to the fact that Delhiites cannot move around at night unless it’s for a reason categorised as essential or emergency. People Who Can Step Out During Night Curfew Without E-Pass

Delhiites Who Mandatorily Need An E-Pass To Travel During Night Curfew

Journalists employed in print and electronic media companies and people going to get Covid-19 vaccination, both need an e-pass to commute from 10 pm to 5 am. Moreover, people travelling for work at banks, ATMs, petrol pumps, manufacturing units, private security services, power generation services and shops selling essential items need to have an e-pass as well.

How To Get An E-Pass For Night Curfew In Delhi?

To obtain an e-pass to travel during night curfew in Delhi, first visit the Delhi government’s official website. Then, apply for an e-pass on the portal. Click the language of your choice for assistance. Next, enter all your basic details. And upload an ID proof. The authorities need to then approve your permit for an e-pass during 10 pm to 5 am. Once it’s approved, keep a soft copy or hard copy of your e-pass handy with you when you travel during night curfew hours.
