The report was created to give chefs of today access to tomorrow’s menus, showcasing the newest trends and drawing on the expertise of more than 1,600 chefs across 25 countries. The W Dubai-Mina Seyahi hosted the local Middle Eastern report launch.
A yearly report on trends in the food service sector is called Future Menus. Unilever Food Solutions has selected eight trends to monitor and cook for in 2023 with a team of industry partners and chefs from around the globe.
The top eight trends are listed in the research as follows: Mindful Proteins, Wild and Pure, Flavor Contrasts, Feel-Good Food, The New Sharing, Modernized Comfort Food, and Low-Waste Menus.

Each of them has been tried, evaluated, and validated by more than 1600 chefs from around the world, after which they were converted into professional culinary recipes that bring them to life.
The team believes that the 8 Future Menus Trends will create more opportunities for healthier and more environmentally friendly ingredients, a smaller carbon impact, and cooking methods that balance delicious pleasures with the best flavors in each dish.
