And who can forget all the amazing delicacies that Global Village brings with it? You love it, and so do your little ones for its amusement rides and all kinds of toys and goods available here. So what do we have to know about this season? What’s new? We have got all the deets!
What’s It?
This season, Global Village is bringing in more than 3500 outlets. These outlets bring in local flavors from across 80 countries. Now that’s one world tour you can have right in Dubai. And how many pavilions will you get to see? Well, this time Global Village will be hosting 25 countries in their pavilions
What’s New?
Believe it or not, but this year the region’s first Ripley’s Believe it or not, the museum is coming to Global Village. So gear up to witness all kinds of astonishing sights in the museum. From pop culture creations to uniquely crafted artifacts, this is going to be a great visual experience. So expect to see the world’s first wooden Ferrari here! Are cars not your thing? Then spot the iron meteorite- there’s enough for the nerds and the pop culture geeks!

The Regular Pavilions
So if this is your first time to the global village, what must you expect? A lot. You will be mesmerized to see the sheer variety of things available here on sale. From honey picked directly from the mountains of Yemen to authentic dates from Saudi Arabia, each of the middle eastern countries has their pavilion here. If you are interested in Asian goodies, then you must check out the Indian pavilion for its textiles and handicrafts. The Indian Pavilion is one of the biggest pavilions in the global village arena. Then there are also the Persian rugs and Moroccon home décor or take a trip to Turkey for some authentic Turkish ice cream.
The Entertainment
Global Village is not just textiles, handicrafts, and food. There is live entertainment too that we love so much! So enjoy Pakistani singing heartthrob Atif Aslam or go International with Liam Payne and Jason Derulo; whatever your music tastes, there is something on offer for you.
The VIP Packs
Visitors can purchase VIP packs in advance. Why should you be purchasing these VIP packs? Besides offering benefits such as access to the Ripleys! Believe It Or Not Museum and Carnival rides, they also allow you to park closer to the Global Village entrance. The Platinum package is for AED 5000, while the Gold one costs Dh1,900, and Silver is priced at Dh1,300. You can buy this at the Virgin Megastores and maximize your Global Village experience to the hilt!
