A Jellyfish Exhibition, The Invasion Is Coming To National Aquarium, Abu Dhabi
National Aquarium will open a brand-new exhibit titled “The Invasion” this weekend. They bring an exhilarating experience to Abu Dhabi. The aquarium will put up some of the intricate species on exhibit. The show will feature a variety of intriguing jellyfish, such as stinging sea nettles, moon jellies that resemble UFOs, jellyfish that grow sunlight upside-down, and enormous, animated blubbers.
As part of the significant efforts made by marine biologists who have perfected the animals’ life cycle within dedicated breeding facilities, the jellyfish will also be shown in sophisticated tanks that preserve them in perpetual aquatic suspension.
The exhibition’s title, “The Invasion,” may conjure up images of a sci-fi movie in the vein of “Deep Blue Sea,” when you picture it. But the phrase really refers to when jellyfish outbreaks where they erupt unexpectedly and for no discernible reason. This sudden explosion is a behaviour that has been observed among the Jellyfish. The National Aquarium has continued to make efforts to house the most varied collection of creatures in the area, and “The Invasion” is the result of those efforts.

The Invasion exhibition debuts on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at The National Aquarium in Al Qana, Abu Dhabi. All-access tickets, which cost Dhs190, provide holders entrance to The Invasion.
