A one-year-old child residing in Gujarat started feeling sick and suffering from diarrhoea after eating snacks. In a shocking incident, this girl’s parents saw a dead rat in the same namkeen packet their daughter was eating savoury bites from. We are shocked to hear this unfortunate news. Sadly, this was not the first time when a mouse was seen by customers in food containers and packets. We are coming across more such horrifying incidents these days.
The Little Girl Was Fed Namkeen From The Packet Containing A Dead Rat Unknowingly
The disgusting rat was claimed to be found inside a sealed namkeen packet of a famous brand named Gopal Namkeen, according to a report by NDTV. Their family purchased it. The one-year-old girl began vomiting after her mother fed her this contaminated snack without knowing what was inside, her father shared. The tensed parents then discovered the dead rat inside the previously sealed Gopal Namkeen packet.
This terrifying incident was reported in the Prempur village in Sabarkantha. The toddler fell sick and was rushed to Davad Hospital for treatment. She was admitted to the hospital due to suffering from diarrhoea. Quite understandably, her parents are furious about this unexpected incident. Any person standing in their shoes would have felt the same.
Her family has demanded strict action from the Food and Drugs Department. They want the department to take necessary steps against Gopal Namkeen for serious negligence. Finding a dead rat inside a sealed packet shows the company staff’s carelessness and incomplete focus on maintaining hygiene and cleanliness in its factories.
