Gurgaon’s Unique Upside Down Restaurant Tangy House Will Change The Way You See The World

An everyday meal just toppled upside down. There’s a unique restaurant in Delhi NCR that has gone out of its way to ensure a memorable experience. There’s no way you will ever be able to forget this place. Once you’re in, your world will turn upside down.

What is it

Tangy House in Gurgaon imagines a world the other around, upside down. When you peer out the upside down giant bay windows, the outside world is what looks weird. The décor is electric in this unique restaurant, so the effect is not a subtle background but a jarring alternate universe. What would the world be like if everything we think is straight and right were to be turned upside down?

One thing is upright and in line at this unique restaurant for sure: their food. This place is most highly rated for what they serve in your plate. With a unique ambience like theirs, the bar was set pretty high up. We’re surprised at how well it faired despite our expectations. Pasta, fish and dal makhani were all amazing! This place can do anything and everything! Speaking of anything, they have paneer kurkure. This is a must try must have. We just don’t know why this dish isn’t as popular as paneer tikka, if not more.

What’s more

Ulta pulta fresco on the walls perks up our day for sure. We never thought we would find out what Lal Qila would be like if the dome was at the bottom and the bold walls its top. Festooned ceilings overarching the huge dining cozy up the airiness of the unique restaurant. Harry Potter style lights hang upside down for a spooky feel. Martini glasses make the top of the bar, hanging by their bottom of course.

The first sip of the love triangle mocktail had us at hello. Lavender and basil is an inspired combination of our favourite flavours. Just when we thought this couldn’t get any better, they served us cheesecake shake. Need we say more? Tangy House is unforgettable. We can’t wait for our next visit. There’s so much more to try at this unique restaurant. It’s pocket friendly so we don’t mind a couple of trips every now and then. For real though, the décor was enough to keep us coming back. Go see for yourself!
