On March 13, the police arrested a hotel manager from Gurugram after a 60-year-old resident of Indrapuri complained that someone withdrew cash and purchased gold coins using his stolen debit card. The 32-year-old hotel manager is from Bihar. The manager confessed to taking advantage of the inebriated octogenarian who stayed at the hotel as a guest. When presented with the hotel bill, the guest was in an inebriated state and requested the manager to accompany him to the ATM to withdraw money for the hotel dues.

Police Catches Culprit & Returns Belongings To Guest

After returning back to the room, the hotel manager, stole his ATM cards, withdrew 1 lakh cash and bought gold worth 1 lakh2.1 lakhs from a local jeweller. The police recovered the stolen debit cards, cash withdrawn and 40gm gold coins purchased and returned them to the hotel guest.
