Everybody knows that Hajj is an annual religious pilgrimage to Mecca that is undertaken by millions of people across the world. As it happens, this is a religious duty for Muslims that must be performed at least once, if they have the physical and financial capability. And as the Hajj season is just a few weeks away, several operators in the UAE are being flooded with enquiries about the pilgrimage. However, these packages are fully booked!
Hajj Packages All Sold Out?
It’s worth mentioning that Saudi Arabia has not imposed any restrictions on the number of pilgrims this year. And this is huge because the decision comes after three years of COVID-19 curbs. However, with the spike in demand, it’s hardly surprising that packages are already booked. A reason for this has also been given to the fact that the pilgrimage season is coinciding with the summer vacation. So, when many residents jumped in to secure their places, there were hardly any packages left! According to a news report by Khaleej Times, Hajj packages cost between AED30,000 to AED35,000, which includes flight tickets, accommodation, and transportation to and from the holy sites. As these all-inclusive offers are highly popular in the UAE, some agencies also customise such packages to meet specific preferences. However, even those are now fully booked.

When Will Hajj Begin?
It was also reported that many operators in the UAE have admitted that their Hajj packages were already sold out a few days ago. It’s worth mentioning that on arriving at the airport, residents will be welcomed by buses, which will take them to the holy city of Mecca. After this, they will visit the city of Madina and pilgrims will also get to visit several historical sites and finally fly back to their desired destination. These flights can be taken from Jeddah or Madina! This year, pilgrims will begin their journey on June 19 and the return is scheduled for July 3.
