What Is It?
Khichdi is our national dish and each state has their unique way of preparing it. It has been the go-to dish to bring culinary warmth to people during the winters. Neel at Mahalaxmi, Nariman Point & Powai are celebrating this simple, healthy yet much loved Indian staple with 8 new versions in their new KHICHDI MENU!
Inspired by the different versions of khichdi – eaten across the country menu will feature versions from the North, South, East & West of India.

What’s In It?
Get started with local Maharashtrian Khichdi – KOLAMBI CHI KHICHDI of jeera Kolam rice with shrimps, kokam juice, served with sol kadhi, rice papad. Proceed to Karnataka Mutton Khichdi of unpolished brown rice and traditional masala and South Indian Venpongal made using yellow moong with tempered curry leaves, crushed black pepper, served with chickpeas poppadum, each Khichdi boasts of regional flavours.

What’s Unique?
The Chef strongly recommends Bajre Ki Khichdi, which replaces the rice with pearl millets and is made using wintery green peas!
