Commuters in Mumbai, stay alert! A part of the Aarey Main road is undergoing concretisation now. The portion of the road where the construction work is taking place is blocked. As a result, vehicles are now having to take alternative routes. If you’re planning to travel through the Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road or JVLR, you might have to face traffic jams now.

Road Blocked From Aarey Main Between Aarey Market And Aarey Hospital

The part of the Aarey Main between Aarey Market and Aarey Hospital is undergoing concretisation. Thus, traffic constables are diverting vehicles to other routes. A notice has also been put up in certain places alerting commuters about the construction work. The stretch where the construction is in progress has a length of 1100 metres and it comes under the Dindoshi traffic division. The road will remain blocked until the completion of the work.

Keep More Time In Hand For Travelling Through JVLR And Other Roads

Banners have been installed on the road to guide motorists with diversions. The Aarey main road links two bustling parts of Mumbai, Goregaon and Powai. Thus, it gets a large number of daily commuters. Some people also use the road to bypass heavy traffic in JVLR but till the construction ends, they won’t be having this option.
