Helicopter Rides Expected To Start In Goa By May 2020

Helicopter rides will be the new way of exploring Goa! Yes, you heard that right! The work for this project started by October 2019 and it is expected to be up and running by May 2020. The Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) recently assigned the project to a private company for ₹3.03 crore

Well, as everyone knows Goa is the most loved vacation destination and after this news, all the more reason to take your gang here. Goa is the perfect place to try on adventure sports like paragliding, parasailing, snorkeling, hot air balloon rides and now add the helicopter tour to this list!

This heli-tour will bring in a lot of attraction to the state and it will be promoted by GTDC under Swadesh Darshan Scheme, reports Times Travel. The helipad will be built in Old Goa at Ella on a plot that covers an area of 20920 square kilometres. Ella is one of the prime locations in the state and after the helicopter ride starts it will gain even more momentum.

The already existing helipad will have to be renovated and developed as it has not been in use for a long time.  The hotels and near buy stay will make good use of this opportunity in their benefits, said the engineers, reported by Times Travel. Goa Tourism is also working on Bunjee Jumping as the new adventure sport in the North Goa at Mayem Lake.

I guess this is one more reason to visit Goa!
