What are Diwali celebrations in Mumbai, if not a little extra? This October, we headed to Hiranandani Pulse in Powai to have a full-blown festival, with performances, games, food and even shopping. Curly Tales Editor-in-chief Kamiya Jani took to the centre stage and celebrated Diwali at the Hiranandani Pulse, Powai venue. We can’t wait to tell you more.
Diwali In Hiranandani, A Gathering Like No Other
Decked like a wedding destination, with tons of people walking, talking, admiring the decor and most of all, engaged in games, art and food, the Hiranandani Pulse Diwali celebration was a carnival. We were so amazed by the pretty, larger-than-life Diwali lights, the decor, the crowd pullers and the food. This vibe at the venue completely had our hearts.
Here’s Everything We Did & Had A Wholesome Diwali Celebration
A. Exploring The Flea Market: The roads were filled with people, and we first headed to the flea market to check out all the brands, clothes, skincare and other products which were available there. Honestly, the market was one of the best attractions, especially when it had the best of stalls to woo visitors.
B. What is a carnival if we don’t spot the best of brands exhibiting their best cars and vehicles? Totally worth one’s time if you are a car enthusiast.
C. Kids activities were one among the major attractions here, especially with the games, different rides, workshop and painting activities. This Diwali in Hiranandani was a heady mix of fun, interest and a lot of mind-boggling activities with prizes. Can we ever think of activities without rewarding the kids? It will be unfair, right?
D. Furthermore, one of the crowd-puller attractions in the Hiranandani Pulse was the magnificent parade. Colours, people, lights and everything whimsical caught is hooked like nothing else.
E. LIVE Music & Food: We were drawn to the scores of food stalls that were hosting the foodies. Oh, the flavours, food options and crowd, it was a party that we will remember for quite a while. The LIVE music with prominent personalities was the eye-catching moment as people gathered to hear soulful music and enjoy the true essence of Diwali.
After all, Diwali is getting together as families and communities celebrate the best of times as the holiday season begins worldwide.
