TikTok has gained popularity in the UAE and how! From locals to celebs, everyone has joined TikTok to connect with people around the world. And the latest one to join the bandwagon is none another than the ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE. Yep, that’s right, Sheikh Mohammed is now on TikTok, and he made it official via announcing this news on Twitter.

Sheikh Mohammed Announced About His TikTok On Twitter

Sheikh Mohammed is quite active on social media and he recently, took to Twitter to announce about his TikTok account. He made his debut on TikTok with an inspirational video that features his voice. The tweet posted by him states, 

“Today, I launched my official account on the TikTok social networking platform… the fastest growing in the world, which has more than 800 million followers. We want to be where people are. We want to build positive Arabic content… and we want to listen to young people and hear them our story.”

His Highness Is One Of The Most Followed World Leaders On Social Media

The tweet was also accompanied with a link to his TikTok account and the first video he posted. The first video shared by him on the platform was a motivational one, where he spoke in English. Whereas, the second was in Arabic and it was about the pandemic. 

The launch of his official TikTok account comes from his insight to connect with his followers, especially the young generation who make up the majority of the short-form mobile video platform’s audience. 

Sheikh Mohammed has always managed to connect with his people through social media, which also makes him one of the most followed world leaders on social media, with more than 22.6 million followers across social media platforms.
