Himachal Pradesh was hit by an earthquake on Monday afternoon but this was unfortunately not the end. Again, another quake of 3.2 magnitude jolted in some other parts of the state on the next day. Himachal Pradesh Experienced 2 Earthquakes In 2 Days
Taking to the X platform, the National Center for Seismology (@NCS_Earthquake) shared information about the recent tremors reported in the state.

The most recent tremors were felt in Mandi after an earthquake on March 5 at 6:56 AM. It was quite early in the morning when the tremors jolted in the affected place. As per the information provided by the National Center for Seismology, the latitude of the earthquake was 31.57, the longitude was 77.18, and the depth was 5 km.

Before today’s earthquake, it was on Monday afternoon when the first earthquake of magnitude 3.2 hit Himachal Pradesh. According to the information provided by the National Center for Seismology, the location was Lahaul and Spiti. With a latitude of 32.15 N and a longitude of 77.67 E, the depth of the quake was 5 km. Lahaul and Spiti district comes under the seismic zone IV and it is considered a high-damage risk zone, according to a report by the Indian Express.

On March 4, an earthquake of magnitude 3.2 was reported in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda at 9:08 PM. Its latitude was 33.02, longitude was 75.84, and a depth of 10 km.

Right after some minutes, another earthquake was reported in Doda. It was at 9:17 PM when the quake hit the place. According to the National Center for Seismology’s information, its latitude was 33.04, longitude was 75.85, and depth was 10 KM.

On Monday, an earthquake hit Bidar in Karnataka as well. At 7:40 PM, a quake of latitude 17.77, 77.02 longitude, and depth of 6 km was reported in Bidar.
