Taking to the X (formerly Twitter) platform, GBA Life Style (@zhengniushi) shared information about the New Year’s Countdown Fireworks Musical. Read on to know all about these over-the-top extravagant celebrations.

New Year’s Countdown Fireworks Musical on the occasion of New Year’s Eve on December 31 will be the largest and longest-running fireworks musical in the history of Hong Kong. It will illuminate areas falling within 1,300 meters across Victoria Harbour. To ring in the New Year at midnight, the fireworks display will dazzle up the sky for 12 straight minutes.

The Hong Kong Tourism Board is arranging the magnificent presentation of the extravagant fireworks celebrations. The theme for the New Year Countdown Celebrations is ‘New Year, New Legend’, according to a report by Hindustan Times. If you are celebrating the last day of the year in Hong Kong, make sure to be near Victoria Harbour to witness the magical visuals of incredible fireworks up in the sky and welcome the new year with locals and tourists from different parts of the world.

This epic celebration is set to be the grandest and largest of all time on the occasion of New Year’s Eve in Hong Kong, surpassing the previous remarkable celebrations. This brings a spectacular opportunity to present the high-spirited and lively vibes of the destination to visitors.

  • As the humongous countdown clock on the massive facade of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre starts ticking to midnight, the fireworks extravaganza will be portrayed in Victoria Harbour.
  • The numbers of 2024 will dazzle up when the clock strikes midnight.
  • Inspired by the change of four seasons, the spectacle will take the visitors on a beautiful trip down the lane to witness the change from winter to spring followed by summer, autumn, and winter again.
  • The countdown fireworks will display the ongoing cycle of life and how it promises new beginnings.

  • Pyrotechnics will be shot from 11 PM at Cheung Kong Center, Harbour Centre, and Harcourt House.

  • Also, the Radio 2 of Radio Television Hong Kong will air the soundtrack of the celebrations.
