Heading to the area outside Mannat and clicking pictures is quite a usual activity for tourists. The usual number intensifies with the overcrowding of lakhs on special occasions such as Eid and SRK’s birthday. Die-hard fans and fanatics of King Khan visit Bandstand not just to witness the glory and hype of Mannat but also to fulfil their long desire to get a glimpse of their idol.
Is there anything iconic to see on any random regular day? No. Do tourists still flock near Mannat all the time? Yes. Interestingly, there is a bus stand near the luxury home making it extremely convenient for visitors to travel there. However, it looks like locals are facing issues with tourists thronging Bandstand in Mumbai.
Famous travel content creator Shenaz Treasury reacted to the rise in SRK fans’ footfall in Bandstand and shared how she feels about it. Taking to her Instagram stories, she said how truckloads of fans have ruined evening walks for locals. Shenaz shared, “Listen, I am a fan of Shah Rukh Khan too but I have to say this whole crowd that comes here for Shah Rukh Khan has ruined Bandstand and our evening walks.” She ended the video by questioning Netizens, “Who agrees with me?”
The Place Has Never Been Dirtier!
Talking about the difficulties Shenaz faced in the area, she also added that truckloads of people make it a mess. According to her, Bandstand has changed a lot and she feels sad to see what the 1.2 km long walkway has become today. “Bandstand has never been dirtier and more crowded”, shared Shenaz.
