We Were Transported To A Non-Covid World

After landing in Male and completing all the COVID protocols, Adaaran Prestige Vadoo was a 15-minute comfortable boat ride from Male. We got a warm welcome on reaching the resort, and the check-in was a smooth, contactless process. Once they checked our temperature, we felt as if we were instantly transported to a non-Covid world! We had already sent them our COVID-negative report online before we flew to Male. We were taken to our villa in a buggy and were given access to all the menus and schedules on our phones, which made everything super convenient. The resort had only 50% occupancy and so, we did not have to worry about the crowd.

Our Stay In A Charming Overwater Villa With A Pool

I was grateful just to be spending quality time with my family, but the stay was the cherry on the cake! It was fantastic and exceeded our expectations. The resort has three types of villas: honeymoon villa, sunset villa and sunrise villa. We stayed in the honeymoon villa which was not only spacious but also spaced out from the other villas. The sunrise villa has city views so make your bookings accordingly.

We stayed in a charming overwater villa and fell asleep hearing the waves crash. The views of the ocean from the private infinity pool was indeed a spectacle. The staff was warm and friendly and offered us prompt services. They always had a smile on their faces, no matter the request. The room attendant serviced the room at our convenience, and everything was immaculate and hygienic.

Room tariff: Starting from ₹43,000

An Island With A Clear Turquoise Lagoon

Design-wise, the resort had an eco-rustic feel with hardwood and bamboo roofing. It was truly a one-of-a-kind and exuded the true meaning of luxury. We spent a lot of time in the beautifully landscaped garden in the centre of the island, which is home to imported bunnies, turtles, and parakeets. Adaaran Prestige Vadoo also has lovely white-sand beaches and a clear, turquoise lagoon. This Luxury Resort In Maldives Is Offering A Year-Long Staycation For A Whopping US$30,000.

A Sunset Cruise To Remember

As for the activities, they had a schedule created for us that helped us decide what we could do every day. It included activities like kayaking, paddle boating sunset cruises and fishing. The highlight for us was definitely the sunset cruise and paddle boating which was both leisurely and exciting. We walked around barefoot during the day and dressed up for dinner at night. A Memorable Dinner On A Private Sandbank

We enjoyed dinner on a private sandbank surrounded by the stunning blue lagoon. To top it off, the food here is top-notch, and the restaurants are elegant. It’s a sort of a place where the staff will pull out your chair and place a cloth napkin into your lap. The main restaurant, Farivalhu, has both indoor and outdoor seating and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The cuisine here ranges from fresh seafood to Pan-Asian. There is another restaurant which is perched in a scenic location over the water.

The water temperature was perfect during our trip – cool enough to feel refreshing and warm enough to slip into without a chill. We brought back home countless happy memories.
