“I Won’t Be Able To Cook,” Dipika Kakar Bids Adieu To Celebrity MasterChef Due To Injury

If you watch Celebrity MasterChef, then you already know Dipika Kakar is one of the most loved contestants on the show. She won many hearts for her innovative dishes and for being one of the best contests on the show. She, however, has now decided to quit the show due to a worsening shoulder injury.

Dipika Kakar Says Emotional Goodbye To Celebrity MasterChef

During a Holi special episode, actress Dipika Kakar decided to bid farewell to Celebrity MasterChef. According to the Times of India, she injured her shoulder a few weeks back and has since been struggling. She explained that her injury is getting worse and she is struggling to continue in the competition.

Explaining that she now wants to focus on her recovery, Dipika Kakar announced her decision to quit Celebrity MasterChef. She explained that her shoulder injury is getting worse, she feels stiffness in her shoulder and it is impacting her back as well. When chef and judge Ranveer Brar asked how she would continue to cook, Dipika Kakar responded, “I won’t be able to cook.”

She further added that the doctor had advised her to rest. Despite that, she has been pushing herself for the sake of the competition. She said that while she has been taking breaks and trying to be cautious, she has not been able to give her best since the injury.

Understanding the situation, the Celebrity MasterChef judges allowed Dipika Kakar to quit the show and confirmed her exit. While leaving, Dipika thanked and expressed her gratitude to her fellow contestants, judges, and fans for being “empathically supporting” during this time.

In her vlog on YouTube, Dipika spoke about her Celebrity MasterChef journey and said that she learnt a lot there. She further added that her journey was “crazy fun and special” because cooking is something she loves. She ended the vlog by adding how she will miss the show and will now focus on her recovery.
