IACAD Inaugurates A Stunning New Mosque In Al Hudaiba Neighborhood, Dubai

The population visiting mosques in Dubai increases multifold during Ramadan. And to culminate the worshippers the plethora of mosques sometimes falls short. Hence IACAD has inaugurated a new mosque in the Al Hudaiba area of the Emirate. The architecturally impressive mosque put the last brick in February 2023. Let’s learn more about this mosque and how it will help worshippers during the holy month of Ramadan.

Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Masjid

HH Mohammed Bin Rashid’s late son’s name was given to this mosque similar to some others present in Dubai. The huge construction spans up to 17k sqm. It holds the capacity to hold 1601 worshippers. You can witness reflections of Fatimid-style architecture in this Al Hudaiba mosque.

The new mosque is breathtakingly beautiful. Be it the golden-clad interiors or the marble-coloured exteriors nothing fails to impress us about the architecture of this mosque in Al Hudaiba.
The traditional minarets and the golden-laced interiors have wowed us in multiple aspects and the spacious setup can accommodate a lot of praying hands.

The Islamic Affairs & Charitable Activities with the Government of Dubai has done outstanding work in constructing the Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Masjid.

Same Name, Different Mosque!

Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Masjid in Al Quoz was inaugurated in 2019. The inauguration ceremony had the presence of the Deputy Ruler of Dubai.
A library, a school for studying the Quran, and a hall designated only for female worshippers are also included in this mosque. The masjid can accommodate 900 worshippers in the 38,000-square-foot building complex.

These mosques take the name in honour of the Ruler’s late son who passed away in 2015 due to a heart attack. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and chairman of Emirates Airline and Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, chairman of the MBRF were present for the inaugural ceremony of this Al Quoz mosque.

We anticipate more mosque announcements in the upcoming days in the UAE.
