IKEA Launches Its World’s First Swedish Restaurant In UK & Menu Includes Its Iconic Meatballs

IKEA has officially launched its first standalone restaurant on King Street in the UK! This new dining-only space has opened beside the newly renovated IKEA Hammersmith City store. IKEA Opens First Swedish Restaurant On The UK High Street

IKEA has made significant expansion into the dining industry by opening doors to its first standalone Swedish restaurant in Hammersmith, London. According to the furniture retailer’s website, this new restaurant is the first time IKEA has created a high-street restaurant. The restaurant is now open next to the newly revamped IKEA Hammersmith store.

Formerly home to a Wasabi restaurant, the new dining-only space can comfortably accommodate 75 diners at a time. Now, we have some good news for the diners at this new restaurant. IKEA Hammersmith is offering IKEA Family Members £5 off in the store when they spend £5 or more at IKEA Hammersmith Restaurant on the same day. This offer is valid till November 30.

What’s On The Menu At This Dining-Only Space?

We’re sure you all must be wondering what’s on the menu at IKEA’s new restaurant in the UK. Well, people can enjoy a wide range of Swedish fare here, including the iconic IKEA meatballs! The meatballs will be served with mashed potatoes, peas, cream sauce, and lingonberry jam. If you’re a vegetarian, then you can opt for ‘Plant Balls’ on the menu. They are also serving Children’s Pasta and Tomato Sauce, Penne Pasta, Fish and Chips, and Salmon with couscous and yoghurt.
