Check it out.
Chef Ranveer Brar Cooked These Yummy Dishes For Kamiya Jani
Alibaug means gorging on fresh seafood, swimming in the sea, strolling the beach at sunset and partying till midnight. However, a cookout in an open kitchen is necessary when you are with Ranveer. This is exactly what we did at Moonstone Hammock! The tropical vibes, the sun shining, and the fresh produce were perfect for a cooking session.
He made delicious fried pomfret and Alibaug-style prawn curry for the main course. While adding a spin to the curry, he said, “It is basically a Konkon-Maharashtrian prawn curry with a slight influence of Mumbai!”
He also wanted to make a sharabi dessert and made a lip-smacking, decadent gulab jamun flambe with brandy. Then, at the drop of a hat, our chef showed his brilliant culinary skills. We were amazed at how swiftly he did everything.

The Final Meal!
The table was set with Ranveer’s crispy fried pomfret, Alibaug-style prawn curry and gulab jamun flambe. These were paired with boiled ambemohar rice, salad and curd. The incredible aroma in the air with the delish food in front of us made our stomachs growl with hunger! We couldn’t wait any longer and dug in!
Just as we took a bite, we were on cloud nine! It was an absolute flavourbomb for our tastebuds! We were honoured to enjoy this meal with him. Kamiya complimented him by saying, “Chef, you deserve a chef’s kiss,” and Ranveer as usual gave us his smile and appreciated it.
