We’re back with another exciting Sunday Brunch! This time, our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, was invited to actress Chitrangda Singh’s home in Pali Hill, Mumbai. Chitrangda Singh Opens Up About Living In Mumbai
In the interview, Kamiya Jani asked Chitrangda Singh if she ever feels lonely. The actress shared that her entire family lives in Delhi, and because of that, Mumbai does feel lonely at times. She further added that when she returns home after either a good or bad day, she often wishes someone from her family were there with her.
Chitrangda also mentioned that industry pressure can get overwhelming, and while making friends may seem easy, it often becomes difficult to share one’s feelings truly. At times, friends may not fully understand what she is going through and might end up offering a different perspective on the situation, which can sometimes be useful.
As the conversation continued, when asked which place she loves more between Delhi and Mumbai, the actress revealed that her heart lies in Delhi. However, she also added that she deeply loves the people in Mumbai.
Moving From Delhi To Mumbai
Chitrangda Singh, in a conversation with Kamiya Jani, shared that moving to Mumbai was scarier for her than acting in films. Comparing the city to Delhi, the actress mentioned that while the capital has its own pace, Mumbai is two to three times faster. However, she added that what she loved the most was the sense of safety she felt compared to her time in Delhi. She also felt much more comfortable, as no one was constantly judging or noticing the clothes she was wearing.
While engaging in a meaningful conversation, the duo enjoyed a delicious brunch spread. The menu included Beetroot Carpaccio Salad, Burnt Garlic Chicken, Edamame Base Grilled Chicken with Truffle Mushroom Sauce, and Spaghetti Aglio Olio. They wrapped up the brunch on a sweet note with a brownie served with ice cream.
