On a very memorable Sunday Brunch episode, rapper and singer, Badshah, invited our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, to his newly opened Bad Boy Pizza in Mumbai. What followed was an afternoon of wild toppings, crazy flavours and explosive spice levels. Over slices of Pushpa Pizza and KFC Pizza, Badshah revealed how he hates celebrating his birthdays.
Badshah Turns “Bake-Shah” For Bad Boy Pizza
Not Badshah, he is now Bake-Shah! The rap sensation has become a foodpreneur with his newly opened Bad Boy Pizza in Mumbai. And checking out his cool new pizzeria is Kamiya Jani! He isn’t dropping beats or working on music bass. Rather, Badshah is preparing a pizza base! After a scrumptious spread of freshly baked pizzas, Badshah and Kamiya tucked into a Popcorn Sundae and a Paan Sundae. “I love Paan. It’s my favourite,” said the rapper, eyeing his dessert.

The Rapper Hates Celebrating Birthdays
While having the dessert, Kamiya asked Badshah how he likes to celebrate his birthdays. To this, he replied that he was busy shooting for a project. Next came a confession. “I hate celebrating my birthday,” said Badshah with passion. The Tareefan singer revealed that while he liked to celebrate his special day as a child, he doesn’t like it as an adult. He finds the attention too much and a bit unwanted. “I like the attention on the stage and for my work. But for my birthdays, I’m not entertaining anyone. I am just standing. It’s a bit strange.”
Kamiya shared that she loves celebrating her birthdays. But she finds it funny that she has a husband who is exactly the opposite, who doesn’t like celebrating his special day. Badshah hilariously shared his observation that perhaps actors Ajay Devgn and Kajol seemed like such a couple. Since Badshah recently celebrated his 40th birthday, does he feel different? “For the past 7-8 years, I feel like I’m 40,” he replied with a smile.
