Every Mumbaikar has, at some point, accepted that a good view comes with a compromise. You either get a sea-facing apartment the size of a shoebox or a spacious home that opens up to… another building. Nupur Sanon and Stebin Ben, somehow, seem to have cracked the code. The couple recently welcomed Kamiya Jani into their home on Sunday Brunch, where they enjoyed an indulgent spread featuring both Punjabi and South Indian favourites. But before the food could steal the show, their apartment already had everyone’s attention.
Nupur Sanon & Stebin Ben Give Home Tour
The moment the cameras turned towards the floor-to-ceiling windows, Mumbai looked completely different. The skyline stretched endlessly, glass buildings reflected the sunlight, and there wasn’t the usual feeling of a crowded city staring back at you. Looking around, Kamiya Jani, our Editor-in-Chief, laughed and asked the question everyone watching was probably thinking: “How do you even get a view like this in Mumbai?”
Stebin Ben had a simple answer. Around two years ago, when he was house-hunting for a rental apartment, this was the side of the city he wanted to wake up to. The view did the convincing long before the interiors could. The moment he stepped into the apartment, he knew he didn’t want to keep looking elsewhere.

Nupur Sanon Feels Sunset View Makes Mumbai Feel Like Dubai
For Nupur Sanon, the surprise came later. After moving into the house following their marriage, she realised this wasn’t the Mumbai she had grown up seeing. She admitted that there are evenings when she looks outside and genuinely forgets she’s in the city. At sunset, the sky throws warm shades across the buildings, and once darkness falls, the lights completely transform the skyline. According to her, there are moments when it feels less like Mumbai and more like Dubai.
That cinematic feeling continues inside the house as well!
One corner of the home belongs entirely to music. Stebin has built a dedicated setup with his instruments and a piano, a space where he spends time singing, composing, and simply playing for himself. Instead of joining in, Nupur Sanon has found her own little ritual. She sits on the staircase next to the music corner and listens while he plays. It sounds like one of those quiet scenes from a Bollywood love story that nobody writes because they happen naturally.
