Known as the ‘King of Comparisons’, Sarthak Sachdeva is a Pune-based YouTuber and influencer who has made a name for himself with his food, travel, challenge and comparison videos. From exploring hidden food spots to trying some truly ‘attrangi’ dishes, Sarthak’s content often revolves around taking his audience along for the experience. So, when he took us on the hunt for misal pav in the city, he opened up about his love for street food and the most expensive pani puri he has had in his life.

Sarthak Sachdeva Had Pani Puri Worth ₹850!

Our misal pav trail with Sarthak Sachdeva came to an interesting end at a high-end 5-star restaurant, where the conversation soon moved from Pune’s street food to the rather fancy versions served at luxury restaurants.

When asked about the most expensive street food he had ever tried, Sarthak recalled a rather extravagant plate of pani puri. “Pani puri khayi thi, uss main fish ke aande daal ke khilaye the,” he said, referring to pani puri served with caviar.

But the price tag seemed to be what really stood out to him. Comparing it to the ₹20 pani puri you can easily find on the streets, he said, “Pani puri ₹20 ki milti hai bahar. ₹850 diye wahan and uss main bhi teen hi puriyan aayi thi wahan.” Safe to say, the ₹850 plate did not quite leave him convinced.
