A Peek Inside Vikas Khanna’s Home In Amritsar

For the latest Sunday Brunch episode, Kamiya Jani visited Vikas Khanna’s home in Amritsar. The celebrity chef, along with his family, warmly welcomed us into their home. What stood out the most was how homely, minimal, and full of nostalgic photographs it was, with cherished memories displayed in every corner.

The house had nothing extravagant about it, but that’s exactly what made it special. It looked like a simple and warm family home. The bungalow also features a small garden where one can sit and enjoy a cup of tea and snacks in the morning or evening.

The living room has comfortable sofas, and as we stepped inside and moved forward, we were taken to the dining area to enjoy delicious Punjabi food. The home also has an indoor staircase leading to the upper floor, where the bedrooms are located. The rooms were simple and functional, featuring chairs, sofas, and a TV.

Vikas Khanna Reveals His Favourite Chaat Place

Showing us his favourite chaat spot in Amritsar, Vikas Khanna took us to Mathura Chaat, a popular eatery that has been serving customers since 1970. It was also his sister’s favourite place to enjoy chaat. As we stepped inside, we noticed several photographs of the chef displayed on the walls. Vikas shared that he and his sister would often sneak money to treat themselves to chaat here, with Aloo Tikki being their favourite dish.

While enjoying chaat at the eatery, Vikas Khanna revealed that the taste has remained unchanged over the years. As he took a bite of the Aloo Tikki, the chef said, “This is my favourite thing in the world.”
