In the latest collaboration with Mashable, our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, met the gorgeous Jacqueline Fernandez at Mahati Wellness in Bandra, Mumbai, where we spent some relaxing time doing yoga and learning the actress’s natural secrets for a fit body and glowing skin. In the episode, the actress revealed her workout routine, oral care routine, playlist, and much more. We were definitely excited to know she maintains her health, diet, and glow at the age of 40, and we can’t wait to share it with you.
Jacqueline Fernandez Opens Up On Her Workout Routine
Kamiya Jani met Jacqueline Fernandez for a yoga session, during which the duo engaged in a healthy conversation. Both were dressed in flexible workout outfits, and during their chat, Jacqueline revealed that she started practising yoga when she first came to India and has continued it for years, mentioning that it truly changed her life. The session began with OM chanting, and during the warm-up exercises, she revealed that she performs yoga every morning.
Jacqueline not only revealed her yoga routine but also shared secrets on how to keep oral hygiene. She explained that it’s not just about brushing teeth — she also practices oil pulling using coconut oil, cloves, and various herbs. She performs this step for about five minutes and reveals that it’s a great way to detoxify the mouth. During the workout, the actress also mentioned that she has started lifting weights, which she describes as ‘anti-ageing.’ She mentioned that lifting weights at any age is really important and especially when you’re getting older.
Actress’s Healthy Breakfast For A Fresh Start
After an energising workout, Kamiya and Jacqueline moved on to a healthy breakfast that looked both tempting and nutritious. The duo enjoyed a bowl of chia pudding topped with nuts, alongside banana pancakes drizzled with maple syrup and sprinkled with cinnamon.
Pancakes are a regular part of Jacqueline’s breakfast routine. She prepares them by blending chocolate protein powder, almond milk, banana, and oats, and then quickly shallow-fries them before serving. The actress also mentioned that she usually applies the inside of a banana peel on her face as it has a tightening effect.
